In September I was a decent essay writer but not as good as I would have wanted to be. I have improved very much this school year. Unlike in September I know how to write the intro right and to use transitions. I now write much better than in September. The thing I strugled with most in September was adding enough deatil. I still struggle in that area but I have improved. Another thing i struggled with in September was the conclusion. I didnt know if it was good to write "In conclusion..." but i now know it is correct to write that.
ReplyDeleteThier has been a lot I progressed as a reader in seventh grade below are the big topics I have improved in that I wasn't that great when I started my first year at the Riverhead Middle School:
ReplyDelete• organization,
• on demand writing, and
• vocabulary
I have progressed in my organization of writing Essays, Memoirs, and Personal Narratives. I have progressed in my organization because I came to school with not much of a formate for Essays, Memoirs, and Personal Narratives. Last year I had learned how to be stronger in writing Fiction pieces and Non-Fiction. I had never even heard of a Memoir, so I couldn’t have learned the formate of a Memoir. Now at the end of the year I have a whole formate that helps generate my ideas, organize my thoughts, and sucessefully write great Essays, Memoirs, and Personal Narratives.
I have progressed on my on demand writing, because before this year I took good notes, but not a lot of notes or very in debth notes. Last year the test we took was a lot easier so we didn’t really need to take notes. So have a test in English almost every week was a wake up call, so throughout this year I have been taking a huge amount of in debth notes. And this has helped me have a more understanding of whats going on, and it also have help a huge amount on the test we have for a study guide the day before the test.
I have progresssed on my vocabulary thoughout the year, because coming in to seventh grade I didn’t know many transition works or vocabulary to put in my writing. Last year I knew some of the words I learned this year, but not all of them. So coming into this year with not a very big vocabulary, then learning transition words, and to use the task to help, by take out the “bossy” words and restate it into an essay helped my writing ability this year a lot.

The way I composed an essay in September can easily be compared and contrasted to the way I compose an essay today. One similarity about me as an essay writer is that I always try to include elaborate vocabulary words in my essays. Another similarity is that I like to type up my essays on the computer instead of hand writing them. I like to do this because it makes worry less about penmanship, and spelling and lets me focus on my topic.
ReplyDeleteOne difference is that in September I never made an outline. I would always jump right into the essay. Now I always make outlines. It helps me organize my thoughts which make it easier to write the essay. Another difference is now I'm more prepared to write an essay. In September I didn't know how to approach an essay but now I know to make five coherent paragraphs. I am also more confident in my abilities as a writer.
In September, I wasnt as good as an essay writer as I would have liked to be. I have improved in all of the essay writing areas. In the begining of the year I stuggled with adding too much detail in the essays I enjoyed writing and not enough detail in the essays I didnt really have an intreset in. I think I put in just enough detail now.
ReplyDeleteAlso, in Septemeber , I never heard of topic sentences or thieses sentences or transition sentecnces. Now, every time I write an essay, I try to make my thieses sentences better than the thiese I wrote in the previous essay.
In my essay writing I have been writing longer and better.Im also getting much better grades in essay's.For example:the Abraham Lincoln one i got a 90 in because I wrote in complete sentances and included details from the story.I always ask Mrs.Puccio if im doing it right and so far she hasent said no.
ReplyDeleteI have progressed a lot since my first essay in September in many ways. One way I have progressed since my first essay in September is how organized I am. For example, I had used to make to make my essays very unorganized and my essays didn't make sense. Now I am better at being organized and keeping my thoughts in one place. Another way I have progressed is by using better descriptive words. For example, I used to use boring words that were not very descriptive. Now I am better at using more descritive words. Overall, I think that I have become a better writer in many ways since September.
ReplyDeleteThe way I had written an essay in September is so much different from when I write one now. When I heard we were writing an essay I would be complaining because it was hard for me to write one. Now I still complain but it is much easier for me and takes me only a day. Also I would always make mistakes in grammar, puncuation,or run-on sentences. When I would be writing an essay I would just want to get it done. So now I make an outline to make the paragraphs and is much easier. Or I would just brag on and end it. With the outline it helps me think about details to support the topic. From September to now I have changed as a writer. Even though essays are annoying to me, now it is much easier to write a five paragraph detailed essay.
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning of the year, I wasn't a very strong writer. Now that we are in May, I have gotten a lot stronger at writing. My vocabulary has expanded a lot and I have been taught very good skills, techniques, and formats to write any type of essay or writing piece. In September, I had a smaller vocabulary than I do now. Since I have been reading a lot mare books this year, I think that improved my vocabulary. Last year I didn't write in complete sentences and I think that might have affected my grade a lot more. I also didn't know how to set up any kind of outline to make my writing piece easier. I think that being in Mrs. Puccio's ELA class this year has improved my writing skills.
ReplyDeleteIn September my essys barly had any details from the book. I just wrote my opinionof the book most of the time. Now I use details from the text. I also use more intellectual language in my essays.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started writing in September I was not good. I didn’t know all the stuff that I learned from Mrs. Puccio's class this year. But over the year being in Mrs. Puccio's class she has helped me advance over the year to make my writing better and stronger. One way I have made my writing better is by rereading it, making sure it’s organized.
ReplyDeleteIn September to now, I have matured very much as an essay writer. I thought that i was a very good writer in September, but i see now eveythiing I have missed out and everything I could have added. I've improved on the details, relavent information and the order to put the information in. I've always written what I felt, but I never wrote it the correct way or how I really wanted it. Thanks to having a wonderful ELA teacher I have succesively improved so much as an essay writer.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ms. Sills!!
-Anthony Smith
In September my writing was a lot worse. I didn’t even know that a thesis went at the end of a paragraph. But for some reason now I can’t concentrate at all. I was able to concentrate more in the begging of the year. I have also improved on how much I write in one easy. In September I did not write as much as I do now.
ReplyDeleteAt the begginig of the year I was not a very strong writer my vocabulary, my skills, and my techniques were alot lower then they are today now that were in May everything has improved I can write more I used to be only able to write a few sentances to make a paragraph now my paragraphs take up half of the page also since I read alot more this year my vocabulary has doubled. since the begining of the school year my grammer and punctuation has improved alot to and I prepare for an essay alot better then I used to and I owe all of my improvments to mrs. puccio for helping with everything.
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning of the year my essay writing was not so good but after a few months I got better and I have been able to write easyer but im still having trouble know how to start it and endding it. My hand writing didn't really change. I now know how to write a lot better and can make it sound much better and make it be more understandable. Mrs. Puccio's helped me and was less boring then the other ELA classes. Thanks Mrs. Puccio.
ReplyDeleteAt the beginning of the year, essay writing was a constant struggle for me. Either I would forget an intro or ending, important details, or something along those lines. But now that it is May (and thus, no longer September) I have more experience with essay writing, even though I miss deadlines sometime or another. I am happy to be in Mrs. Puccio's ELA class. She has tought me a lot, and I hope I get as good of a teacher as her next year as well. :))
ReplyDelete-Emily Green, A.K.A. "Da Little Hermes"
When I started writing in September,
ReplyDeleteI was a weak writer but as soon the year past I became stronger everytime I wrote an Essay or narrative or anything else in ELA. Mrs.Puccio helped me and pushed me to success in my writing. Now Im getting 90's in my essays. As the year past ELA has gotten easier. It is less difficult and easier to understand.
Nicole Pieta :]
The thing I improved on in writing are that I organize better and better checking my grammar. Some over stuff is that I all was indent now. One of the best things I improved on is that I stopped making run on sentences. Something I still need to improve on is my homonyms and my parentheses. The best thing I improved on is my adding more detail.
ReplyDelete-Michael McKay
In the begging of the year writing an essay was a struggle. I wasn't any good at it the format freaked me out and it was a complete struggle. Now writing these three essays I don't feel pressured I feel at ease because I know exactly how to write these essays. I could still improve but for the most part i'm much better than I wqas befor.
ReplyDeleteIn September, I had weak writing skills. My vocabulary was not very stong and i would sometimes make mistakes in punctuation, grammar, and run-on sentences. But this year I been getting better at my essay skiils. If I need help all I have to do is ask the teacher. But now it is easier for me to write a five paragraph essay with specific details.
ReplyDelete~TYHASIAH BELL~
During the beginning of the school year my essay writing skills were not so good. I was still confused about the essay plan and how to right your thesis sentence. Now I am much more used to the essay writing skills and it is a lot more easier. I am better with writing conclusions and the three body paragraphs. Essay writing is a lot more easier and now I am able to do much more accurate essays when I get older. Mrs. Puccio has taught me so many skills in ELA. Some of the skills may be hard at first, but it helps you make much more accurate work.
ReplyDeletein septmber my writing was not good and iwas really confused about the right way to write an essay and i did'nt know how to put commas in the right place.now my writing skills are much better because i know how to put commas in a run on sentance and diffrent formats of writing and new words i could use to make my sentances shorter
ReplyDeleteSince September, I can clearly see changes in my essay writing, as well as seeing some similarities. One similarity that I see in myself as an essay writer is my writing style. It has mainly stayed the same. I still add details and make sure I use transition sentences between paragraphs. Another similarity that I see is that I still prefer short outlines to longer, detailed outlines.
ReplyDeleteA difference that I see between September and now is that I see essay writing as a formula, instead of just as a free write with a structure. Also, I now use more elaborate vocabulary in my essays because I know it makes them more convincing. A third difference I see is that I now can write an on-demand essay well, with five paragraphs and using the right format. I am more positive about my essay writing abilities.
I am a much different essay writer now than I was in September. Last year, I wasn't really sure how to open up my essay. In the opening paragraph, I would have my thesis statement as the first sentence and my general statement would be the last. Also, I have learned how to use the task to help me write my opening paragraph. This method is much easier and consumes much less time. I would struggle with my conclusion as well. Instead of simply saying, "In conclusion..." I would try to create a clever way to re-state my opening. It would never be as strong or as clear as I wanted.
ReplyDeleteThere are still a couple of ways I haven't changed my writing. My vocabulary has always been strong and it hasn't expanded too greatly this past year. Unfortunately, I am still terrible at finding and correcting mistakes in my OWN writing. I must learn how to read my writing like it is somebody elses. I suppose my writing can always improve, and I will never stop learning how to strengthen and develop my essays.
In September, I was an okay writer. I was happy enough with my writings, even if I had a clutter of mistakes. But, creating errors helps the mind become secure. So, I began to notice how I could improve my techniques in writing. I practiced and practiced, even if I disliked it, to become more fluent and comprehendable in what I tried so desperatly to voice in words. Now, looking back, I'm aware of how much I've progressed. In details, giving examples, proving points, and extending my vocabulary, I've been able to pronounce my thoughts and strong-felt feelings in a more,...mannerly way. All this has contributed into helping me with essays, narratives, poems, etc., and I love the feeling of accomplishing this.
ReplyDeleteI am a whole different essay writer than I was in the beginning of the year. Last year and even in the beginning of the year I was unsure in how to open my paragraphs, I wasn't sure how to keep focus and stay on task. I was much more of telling the story then on staying on the task. I also learned this year how to use the task to help me write my opening paragraph.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I learned a lot this year I still could learn a lot more. There are still some things that I need to work on in my essay writing and things I need to improve. Mrs. Puccio has done a great job on teaching me and explaining things I don't understand and making my writing better.
Hi everyone! Thank you for all of the compliments. I do appreciate them, but I don't want you to think that you need to compliment me here or that I'm fishing for a compliment. I want this to be an honest reflection on you as a writer, a reflection that helps you improve your writing in the future. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteIn September I was an okay writer. My vocab was not as strong as it is now. I have matured in my essay writing alot by focusing and working hard. It's not the best but it is meeting my goals and I have grown as a writer but also a personal character working hard and putting alot more effort into my work.
ReplyDeleteSince the beggining of the year I have grown as a person but mainly as an essay writer. In the seventh grade I have improved my writing and reading. I meet my goals and am achieving all I need and want to succeed. In ELA I try my best to use stronger vocabulary and all reading and writing devices that I was taught in the past and in the present.
ReplyDeleteSince September, I have definitly notices the changes in my essay writing. I did not know how to write a thesis. I was very unsure how to start an introduction paragraph, now I know exactly how to start my introduction paragraph and thesis.
ReplyDeleteOHH YESS TeAndra Mrs. Puccio does teach very AWSOMELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At the beginning of the year, I was not the best at writing essays and they were such a hassle. But, now I feel that I have improved so much since then. I wasn't too great at supplying details from the passages, nor was I good at coming up with introductions or conclusions. I was more telling the story rather than showing it. I feel that now I can write essays much more easily.
ReplyDeleteBack in September, I wasn't a very good essay writer. I used to always summarize in my essays when I wasn't supposed to. My grammar, punctuation, and spelling was not very well either. I used to go off topic and not always complete everything in the task. Every essay I wrote I improved a little each time. Now I don't summarize! Sometimes my grammar or spelling is wrong but now I mastered punctuation. Now I don't go off topic and I complete the task. From September until now I have changed in the way I write essays. Now I am way better at writing essays and I can tell that over the months and each essay I improve a little bit. I am happy with my improvement so far and I hope to keep improving so I can become a very good essay writer.
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning of the school year I was not a strong writer. I am not the type who likes to write essays. I'm not always satisfied with what I've written, but I know that this is all I can give to my teachers. I am a stronger writer now than in September. I'm happy that I've improved a lot. The happiest thing is that I am more confident in writing essays now.
ReplyDeleteOf all the subjects in school I believe that I have improved the most in English. In the beginning of the year I think I would've been frustrated with all of the essays we've been doing lately, though now I feel like I really reached my potential. I feel much more advanced in other English topics as well. Whenever I stop and jot I feel that I am really digging deep into the book and writing down my true thoughts. Overall I feel that I am a much more advanced English student and because of this I am stronger in all my other classes as well.
ReplyDelete-Kim Guthrie
In September I didn’t know how keep putting “And” in every sentence . Also I oddly didn’t know my B’s from D’s . But know I know about the proper way for Punctuation , Commas , how to stop run on sentences , and have perfect penmanship. Also in the beginning of the year I could of never made a good essay but know I know how to make it . Another thing in the beginning of the year I didn’t know how to do is how to make my essays exiting .
ReplyDeleteBut thanks to Mrs. Puccio I have the best way to make that perfect essay .
In September I was a ok essay writer. But with In September I was a ok essay writer. But with Ms. Sills help and hard work I think I improved. One thing I improved on was my introduction. In September my introduction wasn’t as good as I wanted it to be. Now I have been doing better.
ReplyDelete-Kaitlyn Berry
In September, I thought I was a very good essay writer. Essays aren't my favorite thing but I got good grades on them so I thought I was good at writing them, even with a few mistakes here and ther. Now that we are in May, comparing my essays from now and then there are many improvements. But Also, I still write in similar ways. One Similarity in my essay writing is I try to explain everything with as many details as I can without summerizing a story. A difference in my writing is I use outlines and find bigger vocabulary.
ReplyDeleteIn september I was a better writer than I am now. This is true because I was more into writing about what I wanted and not a specific topic or prompt. Now I struggle with putting in more detail, writing five paragraph essays and staying on topic. I will try to catch up with my work and be as good of a writer as I used to be. As mrs.puccio is a great techer a must put in more effort in order to get a good grade in english. I will be able to improve my work quality and how long it is if I can concentrate.
ReplyDeleteSince the beginning of the year my essay writting has improved a lot. This year I learned a lot of new vocabulary words and I learned how to use transition sentences at the end of paragraphs. Also in the beginning of the year I used to start my conclusion with "As you can see" but now I learned that we should start with "In conclusion".
ReplyDeleteSince September, I can see how aspects in my essay writing has evolved and how some aspects have stayed the same. One thing that has stayed the same in my essay writing, is that I always draft before I write. When I draft I find it easier to fix mistakes and stregnthen my essay then when writing only one copy. Another similarity in my essay writing is that I still like to write with detail. When writing with detail, my essay sounds more convincing.
ReplyDeleteHowever my writing has evolved alot since September. In September, I did not write outlines. Writing outlines has made my essay writing more efficent and organized because when I write an outline, I already know what the topic is going to be so essay writing becomes more of filling out a formula. Another aspect of my essay writing that has evolved is my vocabulary. I have learned many transitional words that have made my essay writing more convincing and mature.
Thank you Mrs.Puccio for all of the help and support that has made me a better essay writer today! :)
In September I thought I was a pretty good essat writer. Turns out i really wasnt. I never really used trasition words when I was going to end a paragraph and start a new one. Also I never used a thesis statement, therefore my writing could have been out of order and the reader of my writing may not have known what I was writing. Also in September I wrote my essays so slow. They used to take me such a long time just to think of an introduction. Now I understand the order the essay is supposed to be written in. From September to now I have gone so far and inproved in so much in my essay writing.
ReplyDeleteIn September I wasn’t the best essay writer. I was really bad with thesis and couldn’t write good Intros or Conclusions. I also had no idea how to transition between paragraphs. As the year passed we learned many ways to improve our essays. I learned how to take apart the essay question and form it into a thesis. We were also taught a layout of an essay. It showed us the layout of each of the five paragraphs and showed us how to give detail to each of the three reasons for the thesis. Some things that stayed the same from September were definitely my use of vocabulary, though I still try use bigger words so that I can give a broader description of things. I also have found that I still use lots of detail in my essay. In fact I usually use too much detail and have to cut stuff out while editing.
ReplyDeleteIn September, I wasn't that good of an essay writer. I really wasn't all that descriptive and couldn't get the good details. Now, with the help of the teaching points and Mrs. Sills, i have become better as a writer. I'm not quite where I want to be, but I'm making progress. Thank You!!
ReplyDeleteMy vocabulary wasn't as strong as it is now. I used to get mixed up with homophones and compound sentences. I used to not give a lot of details and I would say, "That was a good idea." I now have learned to make it more complete and give what they did wrong and right.
ReplyDeleteThroughout the school year My essay writing has improved. It has improved in many ways. One way it improved is that in the beginning of the year I wasn't able to wright a good introduction paragragh and now I don't even have to look at the outline we made in the beginning of the year. Another way I my writing as improved was that I know how to put more detail into my body parragraphs. These are to ways my writing as improved since the beinning of the year
ReplyDeleteTo be honest i dont think i improved much.I still struggle in transitions and intros. However i did improve from where i was in september.I couldnt write a decent essay if i tried. Now i feel im doing better in certain areas of said essay. I hope i continue to improve and grasp the art of the task. Also to get some better grades essays.
ReplyDeleteIn September, I used to write essay that didn't make sense. I would never have enough important details to back up what I was talking about. But now I have stronger and longer essay then I used to.
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning of the year my essay writing was below average for my grade i think because i didn't have that much of a big vocabulary so i tried to make really small words as much as i could and because of that my grades dropped in ELA but now i really feel i have improved because i don't mind using any big words and i feel the quality in my writing has improved drastically.
ReplyDeleteI would like to say to everyone....ENJOY YOUR MEMORIAL DAY TOMORROW...
ReplyDeleteFrom September until now I have tramesdensely upgraded in essay wirting. I can easily compare and contrast my essay writing from then until now. In these ways show how they are different and similar.
ReplyDeleteOne way they are similar is that I always did and do now write an interesting introduction. Another way they are similar is that I always was and am good with capitalization, and sometimes puctuation. It is also similar because I am always forcused on the topic.
Now, the way it is different from now since then is that I generalize the introduction. Another way is I use and add more details for a more interesting, comprehendeble essay. The last way is transtition. I never was good at writing transtitions until now, because now I know all you really have to do is kind of copy your thesis statement.
In September I was not a good essay writer. I did not know alot of strategies that I now know. For example now I know that you should use the task to help write the intro. In September I didnt know how to structure the intro either. I used to usually put the thesis as the first sentence. Also now I know that you should use a mentor text to help you out if you are having trouble writing. In September I already knew that you should quote the text to make your essay strong, but I am now doing it alot better. I improved alot on is adding stronger and more detail too. In September I was not nearly good as an essay writer as I am now.
ReplyDeleteIn September I couldn’t really write an essay at all, a descent essay for me was about two paragraphs with very little detail in them. I also was using homonyms in the wrong places (sometimes), and I didn’t know how to make an organizer and organize my topics right. Between September and now I got better at writing an longer and detailed essay, I don’t mix up homonyms as much, and I can make an organizer and follow it while I’m writing my essay. Another thing I can do now is writing an essay under a certain amount of time without changing the whole essay and it topics the day before the essay is due. I think I have become a better essay writer in the period of time.
ReplyDeleteIn September, I could hardly call myself a writer. My writing was very brief. I was more focused on getting the essay turned in than getting a good grade. Details lacked and I felt myself daydreaming. As the year progressed and there were more and more teaching points, I started getting gradually better at writing. I realized that no one would want to read an essay that had no "umph" to it. Writing came more naturally to me...and then it was May. Although I have clearly seen many differences between my writing now and then, I have also noticed similarities. I still make sure I answer the task and the task only. I also still refrain from adding too many details that I don't need. Keeping it short, simple, and to the point still works for me, but I know that details and a few descriptive words here and there never hurt anybody.
ReplyDeleteSo, as June rolls around, I can now finally call myself a writer.
I HAVE IMPROVED THIS YEAR ON ESSAYS TREMENDESLY. I HAVE BECAME ALOT QUIKER. IT UUSED TO TAKE ME 4 DAYS TO DO AN ESSAY NOW I CAN DO IT IN 2 DAYS. I HAVE BECOME ALOT NEATER, IM STILL A LITTLE SLOPPY, BUT ITS BETTER THAN IT USED TO BE. I AM A DECENT ESSAY WRITER NOW.
ReplyDeleteIn September my essay writing wasn't so great at how to start my layout and open my essay. Specally, I was having trouble with my opening sentence. I did not know that I had to include my thesis statement in the paragraph. Also I wasn't that good of an essay writer myself, and during the months I think that I had improved my writing skills rapidly and I hope it would continue to improve. I wished that I can have more time to improve my writing skills in the future and make it helpful.
ReplyDeleteSince September my ability and skills to write have been astonishing because of how well I am doing. When writing essays such as personal narratives and memoirs aswell biographies I use a special way of thinking that I was taught called spying on your brain and I do this when I read aswell, so that when im stuck on what to write next I write what comes to mind first in my head and I jot it down.
ReplyDeleteI think I have improved very much as an essay writer. In September my essays were too short, disorganized, and did not include enough information. Now, after almost ten months of writing practice, my essays are better written, and my thoughts are well planned out. I try to stay on topic and include enough information to make my point. I hope you have noticed the improvement and effort.
ReplyDeleteFrom september to noew I have changed as an essay writter. In September I did not know many of the things that i have leared in ela about writting essays. Before I did not use proper punctiation nor proper capitalisation.I some times still have trouble or forget these things, but I try to do my best.I also have trrouble with starting each of the paragraphs.
ReplyDeleteSince September my essay writing has improved in mayny ways. One way my essay writing has improved is writing the thesis,I used to have no clue how to use it or what is was. I also never used closing sentences to help me start the next paragraph. If I never learned all of this my essay writing would have been bad and not sound right. I also improved by staying on topic more and not trying to make my paragraphs have details that aren't important in my writing. That was some ways I have improved my essay writing since September.
ReplyDeleteI have changed alot in my essay writing this year. I never wouldn't have thought that I could have wrote a 5-paragraph essay in 2 days. i have also improved on my grammer and writing style. I used to always write a long conclusion and include more details but now I know not to because I'm only supposed to finish and restate my task. Another way that I've changed is that I try to describe what's happening, not just tell it.
ReplyDeleteThe essay writer that I am today and the essay writter that I was in september has really changed. I have improved in alot of things from september to know. I also gained knew knowledge of how to write essay. One of the ways that I changed is not making run on sentences any more.
ReplyDeleteSince September my writing skills have improved drastically. In the beginning of the year my writing had incomplete sentences, the layout of my essay was just not great, and my vocabulary has increased tremendously since the first quarter.
ReplyDeleteNow my writing skills are improving. I have been working hard on the layout of my essay, having complete sentences, and increasing my vocabulary. I have improved my writing since the beginning of the year.
-Mychala Conti
Since September my ability and skills as a writer have improved by a large amount. I'll start off by talking about my handwriting. In September it started off as most of the time I couldn't even read what it was. Now it is 10 times better. I also would just write little paragraphs and now I write pages and pages.
ReplyDeleteBack in September I personally think I was a better writer in September rather then now because I used to write alot but now that we have to write in class and on demmand I dont enjoy writing as much. I just get too lazy and I procratinate now as a writer in the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteIN SEPTEMBER I WAS A REALLY BAD WRITER BUT I ALWAYS HAD RUN ON SENTENCE AND I KETPED SAYING AND I REALLY DIDNT KNOW WHAT IS WAS DOING AT FIRST BUT EVERY SINCE LAST WEEK WE HAVE BEEN DOIN ESSAYS ND ME SEEING OTHER PEOPLES I KINDA GOT THE HANG OF IT ITS EASY NOW FOR ME I CAN DO A ESSAY IN ONE WHOLE DAY.
ReplyDeleteIn September i was a poor essay writer. I never added a thesis statment, or transition sentences. My vocabulary was also weak. Now I have learned to use bigger and better words. I also add detailed and descriptive thesis statments. My transitions have also imporved. My essays have gotten a lot longer too, mostly because i add more and more detail. My handwriting has also improved signifacantly. I used to have really lonun on sentences, but now i know were to put commas and periods!
ReplyDeleteBack in September i was a terrible writer. i would never add details to my writing and it ether wouldn't make sense or it was just boring. Now when i write i add more details and my writing is kind of good sometimes. i think that i have definitely improved over the school year.
ReplyDelete
